Author Guidelines

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to ensure that their submission complies with all of the following items. Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to the authors.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by another journal (unless clearly stated in Comments to the Editor).

How to Submit Manuscripts

Stanzaleaf International Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (SLIJMS) accepts submissions only through the online submission system.

 Submission Steps

  1. Create an Account
    Visit the journal website and register as an author.

  2. Login to the Author Portal
    Use your credentials to access the submission dashboard.

  3. Start a New Submission

    • Upload your manuscript file (MS Word)

    • Upload article metadata (title, authors, abstract, keywords)

  4. Upload Supporting Documents

    • Cover Letter (optional)

    • Copyright Transfer Form (if required)

    • Author Contribution Statement (if applicable)

  5. Review & Submit

    • Check all fields carefully

    • Click Submit

    • You will receive an automated confirmation email

Manuscript Preparation

General Requirements

  • Language: English

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Font Size: 12 pt

  • Line Spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm)

Article Structure

  • Title Page (Title, Author names & affiliations)

  • Abstract (150–250 words)

  • Keywords (4–6 terms)

  • Introduction

  • Methodology (for research papers)

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • References

File Formats

  • Manuscript: .doc or .docx

  • Figures / Tables: PNG, JPEG, BMP (if necessary)

  • Supplementary files (if any)

Originality and Plagiarism

  • Manuscripts must be original and unpublished.

  • Similarity index should preferably be below 10%.

  • Plagiarism detected at any stage will result in rejection.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

There are currently no hidden processing charges. SLIJMS currently follows a transparent publication policy. Details regarding any processing charges, if applicable, will be clearly communicated to authors before publication.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right to publish and distribute the article electronically.

Research Articles

Section Policy:
Research articles submitted to SLIJMS must present original findings, sound methodology, and a clear scholarly contribution. All research articles undergo a double-blind peer review process.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts undergo Double-Blind Peer Review. Reviewer and author identities remain concealed during review.

Submission Checklist

Before submitting, make sure your manuscript includes:
✔ Manuscript file (.doc / .docx)
✔ Title page with author affiliations
✔ Abstract & Keywords
✔ References formatted consistently
✔ Figures/Tables embedded or uploaded separately
✔ Confirm originality and no simultaneous submission elsewhere

After Submission

Once submitted:

  • You will receive an acknowledgment email

  • Manuscripts are screened for scope and format

  • If suitable, they are sent for peer review

  • Reviewers typically respond within 2–4 days

Authors will be notified of editorial decisions, including acceptance, revision, or rejection.

SLIJMS publishes original, high-quality research articles, review papers, case studies, and conceptual papers across multidisciplinary fields, including humanities, social sciences, management, science, technology, and allied disciplines.

4.1 Author-Initiated Cancellation

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing within the specified timeframe.

All decisions regarding refunds remain at the discretion of the journal administration.

  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
